Medrad Interventional introduces next generation Fetch2 aspiration catheter

967

The new Fetch2 is a manual aspiration device that has the ability to quickly resolve small, fresh thrombus in the coronary arteries.

The Fetch2 aspiration catheter offers enhanced handling and kink resistance thanks to a variable pitch coiled proximal shaft. Other performance improvements include enhanced distal radiopaque marker band for improved visibility and positioning marker bands to minimise the need for fluoroscopy.

For operator convenience, this aspiration catheter also provides dual syringes and filter baskets with a more accessible, clear tray package. The defining features of the earlier Fetch aspiration catheter have been retained, such as low 4.2F catheter profile and unique convex-cut distal opening. Despite its low profile, the Fetch2 has demonstrated effective clot removing ability.
