STENTYS announced that Dianne Blanco has been appointed as a director to replace the representative from Omnes Capital venture capital fund.

Since its founding in 2006, Blanco has been chief executive officer of Orteq, a medical device company specialising in novel biodegradable polymers in devices for repair and tissue regeneration in damaged joints by sports medicine surgeons. She has more than 20 years of experience in the medical technology industry in key management positions on an international scale. Prior to joining Orteq, she was head of Baxter Healthcare’s Medication Delivery division for the EMEA region.

Blanco replaces Alexia Pérouse of Omnes Capital, which has supported the Company’s development since 2009. Her appointment will be submitted to the next Shareholders’ Meeting for approval.

Gonzague Issenmann, co-founder and chief executive officer of STENTYS, says: “We are delighted to welcome Dianne Blanco onto STENTYS’ Board of Directors. Her experience represents a considerable asset for our Company’s strategic objectives and international development.”
