MicroPort EP’s cardiovascular catheter sheath system has completed its first clinical case observation in the General Hospital of the Shenyang Military Region, Shenyang, China. According to a press release, the surgeon’s evaluation of the product was very good.
The product is independently researched and developed by MicroPort EP. It is designed to guide radiofrequency catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation surgery, and to map catheters to the desired location in surgery. This clinical observation mainly studied the safety and effectiveness of the product. According to MicroPort EP, this clinical case observation indicates that the product could take a step forward in the provision of a systematic solution for the treatment of complex arrhythmia.
