Corcym has announced the first-in-human implantation of TriMemo, a semi-rigid annuloplasty ring dedicated to tricuspid valve repair.
The procedure was performed at Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, USA) by A Marc Gillinov, chairman of the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and Judith Dion Pyle Chair in Heart Valve Research.
In a press release, Corcym details that TriMemo features a laser-cut Nitinol core, noting that the technology is designed to be dynamically elastic and adaptive to the tricuspid anatomy.
“It was a privilege to be part of the team performing the first-in-man implant of the ring for tricuspid valve repair. The device performed very well, and I’m encouraged by what we’ve seen so far,” said Gillinov.

TriMemo received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance in April 2026 and is commercially available in the USA. Corcym will formally introduce the ring to the international cardiac surgery community at the European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) annual meeting (7–10 October, Barcelona, Spain).
