Alvimedica has announced CE mark approval of Fluydo NC, its PTCA non-compliant balloon catheter.
Fluydo NC is designed to cross and effectively dilate the hardest lesions located into the most difficult and challenging coronary lesions. Alvimedica has developed the Fluydo NC Balloon to meet the physicians’ need of having available a coronary high-pressure balloon catheter able to merge non-compliant dilatation features with superb crossability.
Fluydo is available in diameters ranging from 1.75‒5mm and lengths from 6‒30mm, it can be used for pre-dilatations and for post-dilatations of tight and highly calcified lesions like those of diabetic patients. The device is 6Fr Guiding Catheter compatible for kissing balloon procedures with the whole range of available sizes (any two Fluydo NC with at least one with diameter up to 3.25mm are 6Fr KB compatible).
