“Encouraging” early results for TEER seen in bRIGHT registry
8287
The first analysis of findings from the bRIGHT registry, detailing real-world results of tricuspid edge-to-edge repair (TEER) at 30 days in 200 patients indicate that the Triclip (Abbott) transcatheter device was safe and effective at reducing tricuspid regurgitation.
Philipp Lurz (Leipzig, Germany), who presented the findings at PCR London Valves (21–23 November, London, UK and virtual) discusses insights from the bRIGHT study, what this adds to existing evidence for TEER including the TRILUMINATE study, as well as detailing some of the challenges involved in the transcatheter treatment of tricuspid regurgitation.
