DAPT and DES in coronary artery disease: Is it time to revisit the guidelines?

At a roundtable organised by Cardiovascular News, with an unrestricted educational grant from Medtronic, interventional cardiologists Sigmund Silber, Azeem Latib and Alexandre Abizaid discussed whether the current US and European guidelines on the duration of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) for patients with stable coronary artery disease treated with drug-eluting stents (DES) should be revisited. Flavio Ribichini moderated the discussion.
