Findings of the CHOICE MI registry show that transcatheter mitral valve implantation (TMVI) is a reproducible and reliable procedure for the elimination of mitral regurgitation in patients who are unsuitable for mitral valve surgery of transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER).

This was among the important messages highlighted by Alison Duncan (London, UK), who spoke to Cardiovascular News at PCR London Valves (21–23 November, London, UK and virtual) where she presented one-year insights from the registry during a late-breaking trial session.
